Empire Dancesport makes learning to dance as easy as 1-2-3. We offer a variety of teaching methods and practice times, as well as flexible class schedule, and we make it all fun! PLUS, your first lesson is FREE!

Empire Dancesport wants to make your moment memorable with a beautiful wedding dance for you and your partner. Not only do we offer couples instruction, we also will prepare you for a father daughter dance, or teach your ENTIRE wedding party!

Private Lessons | Private lessons are offered anytime Monday-Friday, 9 am-9 pm. Lessons are scheduled when it is convenient for you. Private lessons are designed to work on patterns, technique and elements that are unique to what you as a dancer specifically need. A “private” lesson is defined as 1 student (or 1 couple) taking a lesson with 1 teacher. There can be multiple private lessons occurring at the same time. A “private” lesson does not mean you are going to be the only one in the ballroom during your lesson time. Call today to schedule your FREE private lesson!

Group Classes | A variety of group classes are offered throughout the week at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm (see calendar). Group classes are designed to coincide with private lessons and work on patterns only. They do not cover technique or personal dance elements such as lead & follow, floor craft, or styling. The Social Ease Group is for the beginner dancer who has had less than 10 lessons. The Bronze Group is for advanced dancers who have had more than 10 lessons and are working on their bronze level syllabus. Call today to schedule your FREE private lesson!

We want your first dance lesson to be comfortable, easy, and especially fun! Plan on spending about an hour at the studio the first time you come in. Wear something comfortable (see the FAQ’s about what to wear) and be ready to boogie!

You will learn the fundamentals of dancing which includes about 3 different dances: the Foxtrot, Rumba, and Swing. If there is a specific dance you know you want to learn, let your teacher know. There is absolutely no obligation to continue your dance education with us after your first free lesson. We know you have lots of options and we want you to be comfortable wherever it is that you learn to dance. If you do wish to get started with us, there are two different introductory courses to choose from. The pricing starts at $223 (per couple), and depends on what you choose. Just know that you are about to embark on an incredibly fun journey!
